Buried in the centre of the brain directly behind your eyes is a tiny, pinecone-shaped organ called the pineal gland. The last of the endocrine organs to be discovered and classified by modern science, the pineal gland has modern science a little baffled.

Having said this, mystical traditions and esoteric schools have long associated the pineal gland with your link to the spiritual realm, most prominently in texts and practices from the East, but also in Jewish texts such as the Kabbalah.

At the moment, we know the pineal gland synthesizes serotonin to produce melatonin, which affects our sleep patterns and quality of sleep.

Your pineal gland may be to blame if you find yourself:

  • Tossing and turning throughout the night
  • Waking up periodically
  • Suffering from seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and start to feel the blues when winter approaches
  • Lacking focus throughout the day

We also know that it becomes calcified in the majority of the adult population from factors such as:

  • Age
  • Diet
  • Lifestyle
  • Lack of care

This process is called ‘corpora arenacea’ or ‘brain sand’, and is seen in alarming levels in those with Alzheimer’s.

The good news is that the damage can be reversed, or ‘decalcified’, with powerful new supplements such as Pineal Cleanse, and the growing body of readily available information makes it easier than ever to reverse much of the calcification process that has taken place.

Containing the largest blood supply by far for its weight for any organ in the body, with only the kidney receiving more overall, the pineal gland affects much of how you feel throughout the day.

Modern science in particular has overlooked extensive further research into this misunderstood organ, which is alarming considering we’ve known of the pineal gland for at least 2,000 years.

It was in 1918 that Swedish anatomist Nils Holmgren had been examining the pineal gland within reptiles and was incredibly surprised to find that the pineal contained sensory cells – specifically the cone and rod cells only found within the eyes.

These are the same type of sensory cells within our own eyes that let us perceive the physical realm. It begs the question as to why this completely internal organ contains sensory cells needed for vision.

Knowing what we know now, and with a new vigour to find out as much as possible about the pineal gland, it’s become clear that in order to achieve a healthy body and increase our spiritual awareness, we need to decalcify our pineal gland to activate it.

It’s time to realize that change happens from an individual level, and learning as much about our world and what is harming or benefiting our minds and bodies can only be of benefit to us. Pineal Cleanse helps achieve these goals through decalcifying the penial gland naturally, whilst also promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
